Google New
Google has come out with a website where you can see what Google is coming out with. With so much stuff they are up to, it's hard to keep track of what they have to offer so hopefully this site will make finding things a lot easier.
New Fonts in Google DocsYeah I know, big whoop new fonts. But you know there are a lot of people that this is a big issue. So that said, Google has added new fonts to Google Docs and promises more to come. Among the new batch are Droid Serif and Sans, Calibri, Cambria, Consolas, and Corsiva. In addition to the fonts, Google says you will soon be able to edit documents from the iPad and Droid devices without using a third party app.
Google Voice apps for the iPhone...again
I mentioned this on Tuesday Tech Talk this week, but being it is related to a Google product, I thought I would mention it here. GV Connect and GV Mobile+ are now available in the iTunes Application store. They both sell for $2.99. As for an official Google Voice app from Google itself, no word yet.
Google Earth Review
Now for this week's Google app review, Google Earth. If you haven't used this application already, then you really should! It starts off giving you a space view of Earth that you can then close it on by double clicking on a certain spot on earth or by rotating Earth to visit the non-North and South American side of the planet. Once you close in on a particular region it flies there, it's really cool to check out. You can explore different places right from your desktop, laptop, or even mobile devices. Some places even have 3D visuals animation overlays as noted here when I "visited" Vatican City.

Some of the famous locations in the world have models. Check out the Lincoln Memorial btw. This application is hours of fun and I highly recommend it! You will not be disappointed and of course like other Google applications, it is free.
Well that is going to do it for this edition of Google Friday. See you all next week!
