Hello folks and welcome to another edition of Triple T. Let’s see what is going on this week.
iPhone OS 4.0 suggestions
The Unofficial Apple Weblog has put together a post based on reader feedback on what people would like to see in the iPhone 4.0 OS. What would you like to see in iPhone OS 4.0?
Apple tablet with webcam?
The VP of France Telecom hinted by response that the upcoming Apple Tablet (iSlate, iGuide, etc.) may indeed have a webcam. We are about 2 weeks away from finding out for sure officially hopefully.
LG 3D HDTV with camera support
LG has an HDTV that has support for 3D cameras. This whole 3D in HD thing is pretty new so I’m going to hold out and wait for the early adopters to work the kinks out before I dive in.
iPhone with a camera flash?
Another interesting rumor is the possibility of the next generation iPhone having a built in flash for the camera. This will be interesting.
Droid lacking touchscreen accuracy
Hmm, maybe these are not the droids you are looking for? Excuse my use of a Star Wars line there, I just couldn’t help myself. But that is a big thing, if you are tapping on a link and nothing happens or it thinks you are tapping something else. Back to the drawing board there junior.
Microsoft gets a smack down from the court
If you use Word on your Mac which I do, then keep an eye out for an update that addresses the custom XML editing that got them into trouble. Hey Microsoft, put some ice on that wound!
This Week’s iPhone/iPod touch apps
This week is some notable updates to apps previously reviewed.
Facebook - Yes, push notifications has finally arrived on the FB app although you may want to turn off comment notifications unless you want to hear beep or feel a vibration every other minute. That is one cool feature you can choose which options you want notification for.
audioBoo - Recent update allows you to specify recent boos, nearby ones, or popular ones. Still not one for friends of yours though. Also accessibility for the blind as well (3GS only).
ScoreMobile - Now offers the ability to view all your favorite teams on a single screen like Sportacular does.
Well that is going to do it for this week’s edition of Tuesday Tech Talk. See you all next week!
